PI/CPC Update

Public Information & Cooperation with the Professional Community (PI/CPC)

PI/CPC has been busy this summer delivering presentations to DUI programs, and working to expand outreach with local schools, healthcare communities, and other community organizations like local building trades and banks. Our volunteers provided speakers at local DUI classes, restocked AA literature across Sonoma County, providing literature to clinics and waiting rooms, and community centers like libraries, to make information on how to connect our community members in need with A.A. We also welcomed Celso as our new SOCYPA and Young DUI Offenders liaison.

Lend a hand:
We’re always seeking new ideas, help with distributing literature, and volunteers for our speaker teams. No experience necessary—we’ll match you with an experienced member. (Two years sobriety required for most speakers; one year for young speakers.)

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the AA Bookstore, 750 Mendocino Avenue, Suite 10, Santa Rosa. Hybrid speaker training begins at 7:00 p.m. The Zoom link is available in the event listing on the SoCo AA website.

Thank you for helping keep A.A. available—one newcomer at a time.
