Statement of Purpose
The only purpose of the Hospital & Institution Committee of the Northern California Council of Alcoholics Anonymous is to carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous to the alcoholic who is confined. The activities of this Committee are based on‚ and governed by‚ the Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous.
How do I get involved?
You can volunteer to be an H&I Representative at an A.A. meeting and attend the monthly H&I business meeting
You can also attend the H&I Business meeting even if you’re not a rep.

Where do you meet?
H&I Committee Meeting, Area 22 (in-person only)
- First Wednesday of every month at 6:15pm
- New Meeting Rep Orientation starts at 5:45pm

What positions are available?
A.A. members with at least 6 months of sobriety and a working knowledge of the steps can serve as speakers.
